Olson Tree Service is where it's at! I sought out quotes from three different tree services. I have a large maple tree that stands in my yard between the house and garage with large branches hanging over the roof. I was worried with a major storm I'd have heavy branches fall on my roof so it needed to be trimmed up. Gary and his team are extremely knowledgeable, professional and you can tell they know their stuff. I had another company tell me the tree would die in the next couple of years and to have it completely removed; that surely was not the case! Olson Tree Service came out and made sure I knew what my options were and that the tree was healthy, just had some dead branches in it and they could trim them off once Spring set in and the tree started to bud. Gary Olson and his crew did a tremendous job removing a large Black Walnut tree limb from our roof. The equipment they used was state-of-the-art and could articulate through narrow areas. We have a large facility that’s commercial with eight tall maple trees that needed to be thin and trimmed and pruned away from light poles along with hauling away the debris. Exceptional service from start to finish. I approached Gary while he was working at my neighbor’s property and asked him to take a look at a potentially dangerous (split) oak tree. Olson Tree Service was extremely professional while they methodically and safely removed the old, damaged tree. They also did a great job removing the debris and grinding the stump down. We had a tree removed that was diseased and twisted causing it to leaning in two different directions. The tree was hanging over other trees and vegetation that we wanted to preserve. Gary and his crew removed the tree without any damage to the trees and vegetation surrounding and under the tree. When the job was completed, the area where they worked was cleaner than when they arrived. They also used the lawn protection mats to reduce tire ruts in the work area. Gary and crew helped us clean up a large oak that needed some love, and take down a mulberry. When he came out for the estimate he was polite and no pressure; not a salesman, but a normal dude you’d grab a beer with after work. It was like just talking to a friend who happens to know a lot about trees. He laid out multiple options for our mulberry that was splitting on several major limbs. When they came out to do the work, they laid down mats on the grass so as to minimize their equipment damaging the lawn, and were mindful to not run over several landscape drains we have. Olson Tree Service cut down a fallen mulberry tree branch that was hanging over my chain link fence. They also noticed the top half of the tree was dead. They were able to cut down the limb hanging over my fence without damaging my fence or the nearby shed. They were quick to respond to my phone call and had the tree cut down within a day of me talking with them. They were very reasonably priced and professional.
